Design and Installation

- Start with an on-site consultation and review of the project area
- Prepare a design layout and plant selection recommendations
- Schedule a Nursery visit and finalize plant selections
- Final design revisions and proposal agreement signed
- Scheduling the job
- Site work preparations (remove any existing plants, hardscapes, etc.)
- Installation of hardscape, plants, bedding, irrigation, curbing, sod, etc.
- Site clean-up, watering schedules, fertilizing plan are reviewed.

Part of the Englewood, FL community for over 20 years, we are the premium nursery in Sarasota and Charlotte Counties.
Oak Farms has been in its current location for over 20 years. It is a family run business,with three generations involved in day to day operations. The nursery was established by Bill and Susan Newberry in the early nineties. Susan continues to run the retail end of the business. After Bill retired, his son Billy took over the commercial and residential landscape side of the business. The experienced staff is headed up by Leann, who has been a part of the Oak Farms family for many years.
The nursery is laid out over seven acres in a park like setting, with shell paths between row after row of tropical foliage. We have the largest variety of tropical, native, and ornamental shrubs and trees in the Englewood area. Please come in and look around at our huge inventory and get your plant and landscape questions answered by our knowledgeable staff. We also offer a free landscape consultation for your home.
